And check out the video from the Power of Women in Festivals Panel hosted by Kiki Federico.

This summer, Kiki is leading two Her Forest initiatives to inspire and unite the community at Electric Forest.

Friday in Jubilee – Women’s event
Sunday in Jubilee – All invited! Including men.

The Women’s Circle is an invitation for Forest Women to connect in a celebratory circle in The Jubilee. The Women’s Circle will include informal learning and games, story-sharing, and an invitation to build connections with faces from the Forest community.

The Women’s Circle will be hosted by Kiki Federico. Please read on for her description of the circle experience…

A circle is a gathering that facilitates connection and amplifies the power of the collective through an intentionally-curated shared experience.

The circle is a universal symbol that represents inclusion, unity, and equality. Through the guidance of the leader(s), circles have the power to temporarily suspend social norms and encourage a depth of connection not readily experienced in everyday interactions. When we gather in a circle, we revive an ancient ritual that has long been used to bring people together, create a common focus, and set intentions – as equals and without judgement.

For Electric Forest, the intention is to create a unique, inclusive and powerful experience for participants to connect more deeply with themselves, each other and the meaning of their experience at the festival.

Her Forest’s “Forest Women Panel & Meet and Greet” offers an opportunity to listen, share and connect with some of the festival’s behind-the-scenes ladies as well as woman artists from this year’s lineup. Women participate in the festival in a variety of ways – making the music, working on the production, dancing with the festival community. Join the conversation.

The event will take place Saturday on the Jubilee Stage from 1:30 – 2:45 pm, with gifts from Pura Vida Bracelets!
